Wedding Guest Etiquette #11 - Meal is Served

DON'T pile your plate with food

As a guest, you have to keep in mind that a BUFFET is not synonymous with "All-You-Can-Eat". Be courteous enough to the other guests. Take only a little at a time, there is no need for you to get as much food as you can on your plate because you can always come back for more.

If it's a sit-down meal, don't ask the waiters to give you extra servings. The reception isn't your stomach to be filled with all the food that's being served. You can always go to a fast food restaurant on your way home.
